1. Take a quick nap.

The best way to deal with stress is to relax and comfort your body with a good sound sleep, it can be of short duration. Even a 20-30 min. nap makes you refresh for work in your hectic schedule of all day work.

2. Drink water properly.

Drinking ample amount of water daily would not magically disappear your problems, but actually it will help your body to properly cope up with the situation.

Drinking ample amount of water not only keeps your body hydrated but our body and brain also need ample amount of water to run properly.

We already know that our body is more than 70% of water, so if you are not taking proper amount of water then you are already deteriorating your body. So drink water say bye-bye to stress.

3. Take a deep breathe.

You might have seen Virender Sehwag taking deep breathes at the stressful moments in cricket, he just takes a deep slow breathe, holds it for a moment and all of your body’s stress is gone. This is the best  and quick method to relax your body from the pressures imposed on you and reduce the stress upon you.

4. Meditation.

Meditation is probably the best method to nullify the stress in your life. All you have to do is sit in a calm place, keep your eyes closed and concentrate on your breathe while you inhale and exhale. Do it daily for 5-10 minutes. And it is enough to reduce the stress of your life.

5. Have fun and Exercise

We all live such busy lives these days that sometimes fun is the biggest casualty. While it’s important to keep up with your responsibilities and go to work each day, you have to give yourself time to relax as well.

One of the best ways to do this is to get active in some way whether it’s going for a walk or playing sports with friends, making time to go out for movie.

Giving yourself time off will lower your stress levels in obvious ways, and exercising while you do it is just a bonus.

Exercise helps to relieve stress on a physical and chemical level that just doesn’t happen if you are lying around on the couch.
